The most important neighborhoods in New Cairo
Fifth Settlement Neighborhood:
The Fifth Settlement comprises the first five neighborhoods established in New Cairo. It was the first area to be developed and populated, and the entire New Cairo is often referred to by its name. It is known for the presence of the New Cairo Institute of Information Technology and several shopping malls (7 Stars, Silver Star, Marhaba Mall). Al Andalus Neighborhood:

Al Lotus Neighborhood:
Named for its lotus flower design, Al Lotus is one of the modern neighborhoods in New Cairo. It is the closest neighborhood to all the new vital areas, located directly in front of the American University. The neighborhood is divided into Northern Lotus and Southern Lotus, with the Southern Lotus being preferred for its proximity to the American University. Northern Lotus is divided into five areas (1-5) and Southern Lotus into six districts (6-11). Al Banafseg Neighborhood:
One of the important neighborhoods in New Cairo, Al Banafseg is divided into villa areas and apartment areas. The villa area is divided into 12 districts accessible via North 90th Street or the Ring Road.
