New Cairo neighborhoods and their features

The neighborhoods of New Cairo are among the most sought-after new areas, offering all the features that anyone might look for. The most important neighborhoods in New Cairo

Fifth Settlement Neighborhood:

The Fifth Settlement comprises the first five neighborhoods established in New Cairo. It was the first area to be developed and populated, and the entire New Cairo is often referred to by its name. It is known for the presence of the New Cairo Institute of Information Technology and several shopping malls (7 Stars, Silver Star, Marhaba Mall). It also hosts the New Cairo Court and the Katameya Heights compound, one of the most luxurious residential complexes.

Al Narges Neighborhood:

Its proximity to the Fifth Settlement makes it one of the populous, important, and well-known neighborhoods. Al Narges consists of eight districts, offering luxurious and above-average housing, with well-provided services.

Southern Investors Neighborhood:

This area features luxurious and above-average housing, with most areas comprising gated communities. It has many shopping malls such as Concord, Moon Valley, Fleur de Ville, The Village, Al Jazira Park, Durra, and The Villa. The area also features Al-Zohour Club, Concord Mall, Galleria Plaza, and the recently opened Point 90 Mall.

Al Andalus Neighborhood:

Considered one of the most upscale new neighborhoods in New Cairo, it is situated among the most luxurious residential complexes and resorts such as Katameya Dunes and Mivida. It is characterized by low population density, designed to balance the number of residents with green spaces.

Al Lotus Neighborhood:

Named for its lotus flower design, Al Lotus is one of the modern neighborhoods in New Cairo. It is the closest neighborhood to all the new vital areas, located directly in front of the American University. The neighborhood is divided into Northern Lotus and Southern Lotus, with the Southern Lotus being preferred for its proximity to the American University. Northern Lotus is divided into five areas (1-5) and Southern Lotus into six districts (6-11). It is also notable for being close to prominent clubs like Royal Club, Platinum Club, New Cairo Club, and Aviation Club.

Al Banafseg Neighborhood:

One of the important neighborhoods in New Cairo, Al Banafseg is divided into villa areas and apartment areas. The villa area is divided into 12 districts accessible via North 90th Street or the Ring Road. The Fifth Settlement Authority ensures the presence of sufficient service areas in each neighborhood, including Al Banafseg. The neighborhood primarily offers above-average and luxurious housing, especially in the villa areas.

Northern Investors Neighborhood:

Located adjacent to Rehab City along the Sadat Axis and close to the Suez Road, Northern Investors features gated communities such as El Patio, Hayati Residence, Waterway, Sun Set, Al Ashrafeyah, Bellagio, Hayat Heights, and the Central Bank Club.

Al Yasmeen Neighborhood:

This luxurious neighborhood consists solely of residential villas (ground floor + 2 floors) divided into eight districts. It is notable for its proximity to service areas, the Air Hospital, and Petro Sport Club and Stadium.

South of the Academy Neighborhood:

A villa area divided into seven districts (A-G) and considered the most expensive in the Fifth Settlement due to its direct view of Cairo Festival City.

Al Karnak Neighborhood:

Located near the Clubs Axis and Rehab City, Al Karnak is a quiet villa area (ground floor + 2 floors), characterized by low population density and minimal noise and congestion.

Tamr Henna Neighborhood:

Another villa area situated opposite Al Lotus and amidst villa areas like Al Karnak and Al Sherbatly. It is also quiet with low population density and congestion.

Abu Al Houl Neighborhood:

Close to the Petrified Forest Nature Reserve, Abu Al Houl is notable for its excellent investment potential due to low land prices. It is designed for families, with small land plots and few floors.

Beit Al Watan Neighborhood:

Offered by the New Urban Communities Authority of the Ministry of Housing, Beit Al Watan in New Cairo is known for its prime location in the Fifth Settlement, situated between Rehab City and Madinaty. It is close to key landmarks such as the Suez Road, 90th Street, Clubs Street, Mohamed Bin Zayed Axis, the New Administrative Capital, and the Middle Ring Road.

New Al Narges Neighborhood:

Also known as Al Narges Extension, it is the most important area in New Cairo, located in the far south of New Cairo. It is a highly active area near many residential compounds and vital roads. New Al Narges is well-positioned in the Fifth Settlement, close to key landmarks like Mountain View Square, South 90th Street, Mohamed Naguib Axis, the German University, Fatima Al Sharbatly Mosque, and Arabella.
